CPSBPTA encourages all certified professionals to join the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH). SASH was formerly the National Council on Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity. This organization leads the way in setting professional standards for the industry. SASH is broadening it’s reach to the consumer as well as to the professional community. SASH has a long tradition of being a leader for mental health clinicians specializing in treating problematic sexual behavior and betrayal trauma.
SASH is developing a credentialing process that will launch in 2019 that we believe will become the industry standard for certification. The ATPSB program is recommended for coaches, clergy, and beginning clinicians. The annual conference provides diverse resources for the public and professionals.
